SILENT AUCTION

The Church is gearing up for the annual Fall Community Extravaganza on October 21, a major fundraising effort for our mission projects.  To help make the festival a success the auction committee is soliciting items from church members and local businesses.  We are asking you to consider donating items for the auction and to use any contacts that you have with local businesses that would be willing to donate goods or services. The church will provide a letter of acknowledgment for donated items upon request.  Some suggestions for donations are:

  • Sport tickets and sports memorabilia (e.g., signed sports souvenirs), golf outings, tennis lessons
  • Vacation home weekends, leisure activities (e.g., boating), restaurant gift cards/certificates
  • Large art or craft pieces/fine furnishings (e.g., wreaths, plaques, pictures)
  • In-home services (home improvement, landscaping, computer and tech) and   beauty/spa passes
  • Themed gift baskets (beauty/spa items, chocolate/coffee/tea lovers, football fan, kids’ crafts, date/movie night, dinner (e.g., Italian, French, Asian), and breakfast items
  • At-home catered dinner or frozen dinner dishes (e.g., soup, casserole, bread/rolls, dessert)

One means of donating gift cards is to redeem your credit card rewards points for gift cards to local restaurants, businesses, etc., and donating them for the auction.

If you know of any businesses that would be willing to donate goods or services, please contact them or let us know so that we can contact them. To get more information, please contact Ann Kincer at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
