Salkehatchie

Salkehatchie Summer Service is a home repair mission for youth age 14 and older that began in the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. The goals of this program are to provide adequate, safe housing for low-income homeowners, and to instill in our youth both a sense of compassion for those is need and the skills and desire to help. Members of our United Methodist Youth attend a Salkehatchie camp in North Carolina, and in the summer of 2003, we sponsored the first camp in North Carolina.
