Room in the Inn

For 12 years Huntersville United Methodist Church has sponsored a wonderful ministry called "Room in the Inn" where up to 12 of our homeless neighbors are offered a warm place to sleep, a hot shower, three meals, and love and fellowship on Wednesday nights during December, January, February and March.  This ministry kicks off on the first Wednesday of December and needs MANY volunteers to help feed our neighbors and show them love and kindness this winter.  Possible ways to serve include cooking and serving supper for them, making up the inflatable beds, taking the linens to be laundered, packing lunches for them, providing breakfast for them, spending the night to supervise, and driving our church van to both pick them up Wednesday evenings and to take them back down to Charlotte early Thursday morning.  To help with this great ministry, please see our sign up board in the main lobby of our church, or call our church office at 704-875-1156 to see how you can serve in this wonderful ministry.
