Cub Scouts Pack 98

Pack 98 was established in 2009 to serve the growing Huntersville, NC area.  In the past two years, our Pack has grown to 58 boys due to both our Pack Leadership and the program we provide.  Our Pack is a member of the Hornets Nest District, Mecklenburg Area Council, and the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouts is a program for boys in grades 1 through 5. Pack 98’s program instills in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law and is non-denominational.  HUMC sponsors the Pack by providing a place to meet and by approving the Pack 98's adult leaders.

Boys participate in age-appropriate programs that develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.  The Cubs participate in the annual Pinewood Derby, District Summer Camps, Family Camping, Scouting for Food, Service Projects, Raingutter Regattas and the Blue and Gold Banquet.
