United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.
Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
At Huntersville UMC, the United Methodist Women "circles" (the different UMW groups are called "circles") provide a place for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth for the women of the church. Our UMW Circles are:
- Logos Circle - this group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
- Exodus Circle This group meets the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
- Ruth Circle -this Wednesday morning circle has been created and meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Merryman room at HUMC.
